15 things to do with the kids in Camberley (and nearby)

So, this seemed like a blog-worthy topic and we’ve created this guide featuring 15 of the best family-friendly destinations and things to do in Camberley or very close by (10-15 drive away).

1) Jump In by AirHop Adventure & Trampoline Park Camberley
If your kids need to burn off some serious energy, Jump In is a great indoor option. This trampoline adventure park is packed with wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, battle beams and inflatable obstacles, making it a favourite for active kids and teens. There are different sessions for various ages, including toddler sessions for little ones and open jump sessions for older kids.
Price: From around £14–£16 for a 60-minute session (plus grip socks), with longer sessions available
Age: Best suited to ages 4+ (up to teens or grown-ups!), although younger children can join special toddler sessions
2) Another World Virtual Reality (Camberley)
Another World is a pretty new virtual reality arena in Camberley town centre where friends and families can step into immersive VR games and adventures together. Players move around a free-roam arena wearing VR headsets while tackling cooperative missions or games. It’s a fun choice for tech-loving kids and teens!
Price: Sessions typically cost around £28 per person for a one-hour experience, with discounts for groups

3) Places Leisure Camberley
Places Leisure Camberley is the town’s big family leisure centre, offering everything from swimming pools and sports courts to kids’ birthday parties and activity classes. Families particularly like the ‘Inflatazone’ inflatable obstacle courses in the pool, Clip n’ Climb climbing walls and soft play area.

4) Pirates Landing Camberley
Pirates Landing is a pirate-themed (obviously!) indoor soft play centre located in The Atrium in Camberley. It features two play zones including a dedicated area for under 4s, climbing frames, slides and a huge pirate ship structure that younger kids love.
Price: Entry usually costs around £9–£13 per child depending on age and peak times, while adults go free
Age: Most popular with toddlers, and younger children up to 8 or 9
5) Frimley Lodge Park
One of the best parks in the area, Frimley Lodge Park is a beautiful and expansive outdoor green space that’s perfect for family days out. It’s best known for its large playground, miniature railway (check opening dates/times), cycle tracks and open fields for picnics and games. There’s also a café and seasonal activities like fairs or other large events including ‘paint runs’.
Price: Entry is free! Activities like the railway are subject to a small charge

6) Little Street (Frimley)
Little Street is an popular indoor role-play centre where children can let their imaginations run wild while exploring mini versions of real-life places like a supermarket, café or construction zone. Kids dress up and create their own adventures while parents relax with a coffee nearby.
Price: Sessions usually last around 90 minutes and cost roughly £8–£10 per child
Age: It’s aimed at toddlers and younger children aged around 1–6
7) Lightwater County Park
Lightwater Country Park is a brilliant spot for families who enjoy the outdoors. The park has scenic woodland trails, ponds, a large adventure playground, mini golf and plenty of space for picnics and bike rides. It’s especially popular for nature walks and feeding ducks by the pond.

Price: Entrance prices with peak/non-peak sessions but are typically around £15–£20 for children and £10–£15 for adults, with under-1s free

9) Jakes Playbarn (Yateley)
Another popular spot for getting active is Jake’s Playbarn near Yateley. It features a large indoor play centre with climbing frames, slides and plenty of space for energetic kids. It’s part of Trilakes Country Park and also has a small farm on site where children can see animals like guinea pigs and goats.

10) Go Ape Swinley Forest (Bracknell)
For adventurous families and thrillseekers, Go Ape in Swinley Forest is a big draw! The high-ropes course takes you up into the trees with zip lines, rope bridges and climbing challenges. It’s a fantastic outdoor activity for older kids and braver younger ones too.

12) Ten Pin & laser tag (Camberley)
Tenpin Camberley is a classic family bowling venue located in The Atrium complex. Along with bowling lanes, it also has arcade games and food options, making it easy to spend a couple of hours there. There’s also a laser tag area sharing the same site.

13) Vue Cinema (Camberley)
Vue Cinema in The Atrium is the go-to place for family movie nights. The cinema shows all the latest blockbuster films you’d expect to find and often runs family screenings and kids’ movies during weekends and holidays.

14) Fired Frog Pottery Café
Fired Frog Pottery Café is a relaxed creative activity that’s perfect for rainy days – or any other day too! It’s somewhere kids (and adults!) can paint their own pottery items like mugs, plates or figurines. Staff guide you through the process and the finished pieces are glazed and fired for collection later.
Price: Prices depend on the pottery chosen but typically start at around £10–£15 per item plus a studio fee

15) TeamSport Go Karting (Farnborough)
