Celebrity renter and Strictly professional dancer Neil Jones has been using his London rental pad to encourage people to ‘Keep dancing’.
Jones posted a video filmed at built-to-rent development Quintain Living in Wembley Park showing off his apartment and dance skills with ex-wife and fellow Strictly pro Katya on Instagram and TikTok, to celebrate International Dance Day.
He posted: “Dance is for everyone, everywhere. It’s the perfect escape, gets u up and moving. You can dance in your kitchen, living room, rooftops & your neighbourhood.
Neil, who’s lived at the development for the last few years, has also been sharing his passion for dance by holding free monthly dance classes for his fellow residents during the pandemic.
The classes have been running online since January as part of its events programme and should be moving to in-person classes in May.
The build-to-rent company is known for its varied calendar of resident events, which during lockdown have included everything from bread-baking classes to virtual cocktail-making evenings.
Neil adds: “Dance can connect us in a way that few other activities are able to do. For many people, dance has been a much-needed antidote to the challenges of the past year. It has provided a form of escape and of social connection, as well as helping people to keep in shape during lockdown.”
