What you need to know

Below is an overview of our procedures, in line with the Governments Covid-19 guidelines.  

These procedures are required to be completed by our Agents, Sellers, Tenants and Viewers.


  • Viewers wanting to carry out a physical viewing of a property on the market must be in a position to proceed.
  • We would recommend only two viewers from the same household/support bubble on viewings.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot allow children on viewings at this time.
  • To minimise the risk, it is not possible to arrange multiple viewings at multiple properties at this time.
  • All viewings are by appointment only.

Preparation and procedures for viewings

  • Windows and/or doors will be open for air flow.
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water/alcohol hand sanitizer before and after viewings.
  • To minimise unnecessary contact, we request that sellers vacate the property while viewings take place.
  • Due to it not being possible to have physical protection measures in place in homes, the agent and viewers should wear a suitable face covering unless they are exempt from this requirement. This should be confirmed with the agent before arrival.
  • The Agent will wear a mask and will wash their hands before and after each viewing. 
  • We politely request that viewers do not touch any surfaces/handles inside the property. 
  • At the end of the viewing, please take your mask and gloves with you, and wash/sanitize your hands. 

After the viewing

  • Once the viewing has taken place, the occupant should ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned with standard household cleaning products and towels disposed of safely or washed as appropriate.

Market appraisals

  • Our Agent will wear a mask and wash their hands before and after the appointment
  • We ask sellers to please open all internal doors in advance.
  • Any discussions should take place in a place where social distancing of 2m can be maintained i.e. garden or large room, if this is not possible, the Agent will call upon their return to the office.
  • We are not able to leave paperwork/marketing materials so these to be emailed to you after the appointment.
  • Upon leaving the appointment, our Agent will wash/sanitize their hands and dispose of their mask.
